FLO Components Ltd. announced the release of FLOlink, the first completely independent remote monitoring telematics program dedicated to automatic lubrication systems (ALS).

FLOlink is designed to be used in automatic lubrication systems of any FLO model. When the lubricant storage tank in their ALS is insufficient, key personnel can be notified remotely via email so that they know when to dispatch the lubricant truck. 

"Tracking equipment is increasingly important for equipment managers. Regardless of the size or age of your fleet, it is important to maximize machine efficiency and minimize unplanned downtime," said Gabriel Lopez, FLO's marketing expert.

"Autolubers helps to dispense small amounts of grease frequently during equipment operation to keep the bearings properly lubricated and sealed from dust and contaminants. FLOlink is the evolution of ALS."

When ALS malfunctions and the service technician must be contacted, FLOlink will immediately notify the management. Lopez explained that users can more effectively manage and reduce the number of visits to replenishment services—because the lubrication truck is only accessed when the pump’s grease is low—and by immediately receiving real-time alerts when there is insufficient lubricant or system failure. Reduce costs before it becomes a problem.

"We recognize that the industry needs more data on ALS low lubricant levels and lubricant failures," Lopez said. "We want to allow key personnel of our customers to directly and wirelessly access ALS data on specific machines, as well as independent ALS specific data. These data will not be hidden in a large number of machine reports generated by the machine's regular telematics processing."

Lopez said that FLO customers can now "remote, real-time, and up-to-date status monitoring of any number of systems with FLOlink installed. This allows customers to check the location of each machine, its current ALS status, and its status history at any time. "

FLOlink also gives managers instant access to the alarm notification history of any number of systems, and can immediately generate and export reports for further analysis and planning.
