CM-CT6 compost turning machine: making high-quality compost

The efficient roller design makes the CM-CT6 compost turning machine highly productive, allowing farmers to produce high-quality compost faster.

When making compost, the aeration and hydration of the compost pile are essential to maintain the activity of microorganisms, prevent stagnation and ensure the continuous activity of the entire compost.

By enforcing this process, compost can be produced faster, which is exactly what a commercial composting operation requires.

The CM-CT6 drum compost turning machine is designed to turn large triangular compost piles. The roller length of this self-propelled device is 6m, and it can turn 2.4m high and 5.7m wide haystacks.

The efficient roller design makes this compost dumper highly productive. A 250 kW diesel engine drives a hydrostatic pump, which in turn provides power for all machine functions. Depending on the material composition, the maximum productivity can reach 900 cubic meters per hour. The height adjustment of the roller is controlled by two hydraulic cylinders on both sides of the steering gear.

The joystick control is used to adjust the drum level.

Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to determine the suitability and structural integrity of all hard-working elements in the machine design. Therefore, the robust design of the machine ensures durability.

The cab is ergonomically designed, with climate control and excellent visibility. An adjustable seat with joystick controls makes operating this machine intuitive.

The safety and safety control system includes diesel engine monitoring, hydraulic system status monitoring and emergency stop circuits. The management system monitors engine oil pressure and engine coolant temperature, as well as hydraulic oil temperature and hydraulic oil level.

The protection device is hard-wired to the emergency stop circuit and will automatically shut down the diesel engine in an emergency.

In addition, the control system records and displays machine running time, diesel engine speed, battery voltage, engine oil pressure and engine coolant temperature. A physical emergency stop button is located in the cab.

The access ladder allows easy access to the working deck and ensures the safety of personnel working on the deck.

The anti-skid steering with joystick control is adopted in the design, which is easy to move, especially in narrow spaces. The fail-safe brake is built into the wheel drive.

High and low range handling speed control allows the machine to quickly reposition between stacks, and low range speed adjustment allows high torque speed control when rotating the stack.

A dynamic guide wheel stabilization system is added to the design to ensure that the two guide wheels are always in firm contact with the ground and to ensure a stable foothold at all times.

Using new cyclone oil storage technology, the total oil volume of the hydraulic system is only 170ℓ. This is a major environmental development, considering that a typical hydrostatic machine of this size will have a 1 100ℓ water tank.

The abdomen of CM-CT6 is also double corrosion protection.

The bottom cladding is made of 3CR12 board and coated with epoxy paint, the same type of paint commonly used in battery boxes. The conveyor belt completes the wrapping of the inside of the machine.
