Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins said that developers are trying to attract a grocery store on the west side of Cheyenne, and Trader Joe's is their goal.

This popular chain is located in Monrovia, California, and has more than 530 stores nationwide, including one near Fort Collins, Colorado.

Collins said in the Mayor’s Minutes column on Friday: “I didn’t shop at Trader Joe’s, but I’ve heard such great things.”

Collins added: "I hope they can successfully attract some kind of grocery store to fill the void on the west side of our town."
